The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition with light surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age and gentle use. The Favrile glass shade presents while illuminated with emerald green and peridot tones complemented by hazel undulating lines. While unlit, the shade presents with a rich iridescence of cerulean, olive green and hints of lavender. The glass with minor surface irregularities, minute inclusions, and scattered air bubbles inherent in the making. The glass with minor wear and light surface scratches. The telescopic single 'Student' lamp base with a russet brown patina and green overtones. With an added base plate, likely at the time of manufacture. The base has been converted for electric at an early point in the history of the piece. With a Plume and Atwood 'Duplex' burner. With later period socket. The metal surfaces with minor bruising, wear and scattered areas of light oxidation, typical with aging of this material. Presents well overall and ready for display.
