'Feather' Table Lamp, circa 1910

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition commensurate with age and gentle use. The shade presents with a selection of mottled hazel, forest and emerald green glass. The glass presents with surface irregularities, minute inclusions, and scattered air bubbles inherent in the making. The glass with light surface scratches, minor wear, and dirt to recessed areas. A concentrated area of tiles along the lower border of the shade with cracks (approximately 10 cracks) that have been professionally and sensitively stabilized. The base presents with a warm brown patina and green overtones. The metal surfaces with light scratches, minor wear, abrasions, and scattered areas of light oxidation typical with aging of this material. The three-light cluster appears to be original with original sockets and GE Co. paddle switches. The wheel and riser appear to be original. The heat cap is a modern reproduction.
