The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition with light surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age and gentle use. The shade presents with reactive, mold-blown glass in a two-tone gradient of deep navy blue to a teal blue when unlit. While illuminated, the shade presents with a vibrant emerald green tone to a yellow-green, peridot tone. The glass presents with minute inclusions, surface irregularities, and scattered air bubbles inherent in the making. An area (approximately 1 x 11⁄2 in.) near the top of the shade of hardened adhesive residue. The top rim with an area (1 x 1⁄4 in.) of irregular polish, with some minute edge chips. The lower rim with minor wear and minute edge chips (less than 1⁄8 in.). The top rim later engraved B702. The shade rests slightly askew on the present base. The bronze appears with a warm reddish-brown patina and green verdigris within the recessed areas. The metal surfaces with minor wear, scratches, and scattered areas of light oxidation typical with aging of this material. With a modern light cluster fitted with late period sockets with Bryant paddle switches.
