Overall good condition commensurate with age and gentle use. The central leaded glass shade presents with warm amber glow complemented by the glass shades along the chandelier's border with a similar tone. When unlit, the central shade presents with a beige tone and a central pale, pastel green 'Turtle-Back' tile. The glass presents with surface irregularities, minute inclusions, and scattered air bubbles inherent in the making. The glass with light surface scratches, minor wear, and dirt to recessed areas. Approximately two glass tiles with cracks along the central shade. The hanging shades with scattered minute edge chips (largest ¹⁄₄ in.) along the rims where the metal hardware rests, not visible when set in place. The metal fixture presents with a gilt finish and delicate wirework along the border. The chandelier has been updated with modern chains, orange resin balls, and threaded tassels (not visible in the catalogue illustration). The metal surfaces with light scratches, minor wear, abrasions, and scattered areas of light oxidation typical with aging of this material. The sockets along the perimeter appear to be original. The central pole with replaced modern sockets.
