The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The orange: Orange silk velvet with gold stenciling. Seam across back hem with lower portion a slightly lighter orange color. With filigree clasp at neck, some tearing around proper right clasp area. Relined in olive silk, later silk in excellent condition.
The rust: Rust silk velvet with silver stenciling. Seam across back hem with lower portion a slightly lighter rust color. Missing clasp, currently held by safety pin. Gold silk lining with discoloration and minor shattering throughout, lining separated from velvet at proper left neck and at hem.
