The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Overall with some minor fading and discoloration. The wool ground with areas of rubbing, tears and some patch repairs. The embroidery with rubbing and losses revealing the ground beneath in some spots. The reverse with some scattered staining; otherwise, in good condition.
