The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Irregular borders at the lower and upper short ends. Wear to the silk along the creases as to be expected, otherwise minor wear to the brocade decoration. Scattered soiling, the lower edge with more apparent discoloration.
