The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

One corner with an applied lead seal, probably noting import. The gold braid trim is separating on one short end, with the silk lining also loose. Minor repairs scattered. Areas of rubbing and wear to the silk field. Some light soiling and very minor areas of discoloration. The gold braid trim with more apparent wear and losses to the gold metallic. The pink silk lining with spots of soiling.
