The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The petite-point threads with areas of rubbing revealing the base beneath. The gros-point also with some areas of rubbing as well as loose threads and possible restitching. The fringe and velvet backing a later addition; the tassels with areas of fraying and fading.
