The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With scattered age and construction cracks; not extensive. Most visible cracks are to top where four thin cracks run horizontally, measuring approx. 3 in., 9 in., 10 in., and 16 in., in length. Ebonized veneer with some very light hairline cracks; not extensive. Top with a clear varnish that is now opaque in areas, mostly around brass inlay. Brass inlay generally intact and now with some buckling and very minor losses; most to top. Mounts with oxidation, rubbing and some surface dirt. Most rubbing to handles. In good condition and ready to place.
