The ormolu with typical light rubbing and some minor oxdation, mostly to upper rim and circular mount on top of box. The rectangular lid tightly closed and difficult to open. The lid of circular box with reostrations and associated spray, now discolored yellow. With a vertical hairline crack eminating from one corner of body. Presumably with a resotration to the rectangular lid with some associated overpaint. The circular box lifting out of mount slightly but secure.
