The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The coverlet with multiple repairs to tears and holes, professionally addressed and not very apparent. Rubbing and losses to the silk floss in areas, particular to the white and salmon threads. The green ground with scattered areas of abrasion to the silk.
