Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Scattered areas of rubbing and shattering to the silk ground; the central medallion with some discoloration. Some loose threads; the wrapped metallic threads with losses to the wrapping revealing the base thread beneath; the polychrome silk floss with areas of heavy losses. The looped fringe and tassels with wear, losses and some warping. The pink taffeta lining heavily shattered and with tears, losses, and some discoloration.
