The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The hanging is most likely a joined panel and 1/2 panel. It is considerably pieced however well matched. Some lifting to the pieced areas. The silver metallic threads with fraying and loose threads throughout. There are two areas of water marks, consequential discoloration. The silver braid edge with fraying and losses in areas. The reverse tafetta with soiling and small tears as to be expected. One short edge of verso with applied velcro from prior mounting/display.
