The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The panel is pieced in one corner; some light staining and discoloration. There is some rubbing, at times considerable to the uncut velvet; the short edges are very slightly fraying and some separation to the pieced seams; otherwise remarkably preserved.
