Present well, structurally secure and ready to use. A matched pair, as stated, with minor variations to carving, particularly to the flowerhead cresting and where the arms meet the seatback. Read as a pair in the room. The gilding with rubbing, chips and losses so that the bole, gesso and bare wood are apparent in areas. With minor signs of old wood worm. Chair A with a repair to the back right foot. The upholstery in very good condition, with light wear and marks.
