The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
With typical light scattered surface scratches and some light abrasions. With fine, hairline cracks to the scagliola as expected. One example, depicting a colonnade with a restored break to the upper left corner, and a possible further restoration to the bottom left. Both areas now with some patch repairs and infill on the reverse. The frame of this example with loose joins and may benefit from securing. The other example depicting ruins with some further small cracks to the upper left field in the sky, stabilized and now somewhat yellowed.
