Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The polychrome embroidery floss with rubbing and fraying, some areas with heavier wear revealing the ground beneath; the metallic threads with rubbing, revealing the base silk beneath. The silk ground shattered and allover with areas of loss and fraying, revealing portions of the grey lining beneath. The tassels with some minor rubbing and fraying.
