The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition; the ormolu with areas of repair and typical minor rubbing, oxidation and light tarnish commensurate with age; some elements loose and one foliate element to the base missing; one hat a plaster replacement; scattered minor losses to the enamels and touch-ups; one boy with touch-up at the shoulder where the plate joins to the porcelain; the other restored through his raised ankle and wrist, also with restoration to the thumb of the raised hand; each with scattered minor chips and losses to the applied foliage on the base, one with some scattered minor flaking to the enamels to the aloft foot; please note that the bases of each piece are soldered and as such, the porcelain has not been examined out of the mounts.
