The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Some discoloration and staining to the paper, consistent with age and handling. A few minor cracks neatly restored. The base of the terrestrial globe with some more recent cracking. The brass tarnished. The stands later, as catalogued.
The terrestrial gore with restorations to north and south poles, with stains, readily visible repair and crack through Siberia. Touchups and dark staining and discoloration overall. Some odd pink stains in places.
