The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The panel with fading to the pigments and slightly worn throughout. The selvedge edge is folded in areas and there is rubbing to the silk concentrated to these areas. The short edges are slightly uneven and fraying. Light soiling scattered. The top edge pieced, and with small repairs. Evidence of some water damage to lower portion of panel.
