The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With scattered age and construction cracks; not extensive and consistent with age and use. Largest crack to top running horizontally above inset embroidery panel. Interlocking frieze with scattered small restored breaks, chips, minor losses and restorations as expected. Mounts with some rubbing, surface dirt and oxidations. Brass inlay to fluting of legs with some tarnish, lifting and rubbing. Hardstone ball probably associated, the gilt metal ring below with some lifting. Glass to top replaced, silk embroidery not examined outside of top, generally intact and appears to be re-applied to a later white silk ground which is now with some water marks. White silk in frieze later. In good overall condition and ready to place.
