The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition. With typical light scattered nicks, faint marks and surface scratches. As stated, the commode redecorated and with traces of earlier decoration. The decoration with rubbing, flaking, some small losses and cracking. With some visible gesso and earlier decorative scheme.The apron is reinforced on the reverse, on the side and the front. With evidence of old, now inactive woodworm. The feet with some veritcal splitting and age cracks, but stable. The pulls and escutcheons later.
