The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Panel A: Both short edges with their hems starting to fray and come undone. Small pinhead holes scattered and tiny repairs. There is a discolored area (approx. 1 in. circle) mid floral spray. One edge with a discoloration to a crease with some rubbing to the silk ground.

Panel B: Both short edges with their hems starting to fray and come undone. This panel with more apparent soiling and discoloration scattered. Some crease marks are pronounced and with apparent wear.
