The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The hanging with several pieced areas, some of which disrupt the overall pattern. Patched repairs throughout, and further areas of tears and fraying to the silk and cotton. There are scattered repairs to tears, the longest (3¹⁄₄ in. approx.). The silk and cotton is considerably worn with pigments slightly faded. The green silk binding similarly faded and with worn areas. The linen lining with small patch repairs and light soiling.
