The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.
The ground overall with some minor areas of staining, rubbing and abrasions as expected with age, including an L-shaped tear approx. 4 in. long and scattered areas of repair, particularly along the borders. The embroidery with abrasions and losses, revealing the underlying pattern outline in some areas.
