The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The painting is executed on artist's board and is stable on its support. The paint layer is stable and under a clear varnish that has slightly yellowed with age. There is frame abrasion to the extreme edges and associated small losses. There is a small area of very minute losses in the upper left quadrant of the sky. Under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no apparent inpainting. The work can be hung in its present state and is offered with a simple giltwood frame.
