The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Not examined out of frame. Each with some surface soiling, light and water staining. With scattered areas of discoloration and possible touch-ups. With some undulation to the sheets. Each comprised of multiple sheets of paper, with additional staining at the seams. With scattered short tears and pigment losses. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
