The coverlet with extensive wear to the silver and gold metallic threading, along the central medallion, four corner cartouches and to the ribbon along the borders. Some palmettes and blossom-heads with considerable losses to the silk floss. The linen ground with tears and losses to the central field along the medallion. Scattered areas of discoloration from soiling.

The coverlet is lined with a tan cotton, one upper edge with Velcro applique for prior wall mounting
