The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

The salmon ground silk with a few shattered areas with fray and rubbing, where cotton lining is peering through. There is loss to the chain stitch, particular the cream silks. Areas of soiling and discoloration throughout. A few small repairs to small tears. The pom-pom trim with slight fraying. The cotton lining with very minor staining.
