The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note antique textiles exhibit wear, losses, soiling and tears from normal use and repurposing. Some elements are re-pieced together with complimentary or contemporaneous textiles to mend.

Overall with some minor fading and discoloration to the ground. The velvet ground with rubbing and wear to the pile revealing the ground beneath in some areas. The ground with scattered tears, particularly to the creases. The embroidery with very minor rubbing and wear. The later reverse lining with very minor scattered spots of staining.
