The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each with scattered age and construction cracks throughout, the carving to the sides and front with scattered cracks. Old restored breaks throughout, some of the restored breaks now reinforced with wood or metal on reverse, some minor old worm damage, now inactive. The carving with scattered losses, cracks, and restorations as expected, including some areas of more recent blue-grey paint that is more noticeable. The gesso with scattered losses, chips, and some flaking throughout. Gesso with some later infill, decoration refreshed extensively throughout, now with losses rubbing and surface dirt. The marble tops modern, and with some minor scratches chips and abrasions as expected. Lovely carving, sound overall condition.
