The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The gilt bronze with some oxidation, surface dirt, small casting flaws and rubbing. The red decoration probably later, and now with cracking, pitting, losses, rubbing and surface dirt. The marble bases with some minor chips and abrasions. Wired for electricity. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the working order of light fixtures.
