The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. Fine hairline cracking is occasional to the plaster element and a few small losses are near the figure's proper left thigh and reverse of the plaster element. Slight wear and rubbing is occasional to the figure's rightmost shoulder and the plaster element of the figure's head. Minor wear, slight oxidation and scuffs are occasional to the bronze pedestal. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
