The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- Saucer: two restored sections to the rim, the largest measuring approx. 8.5 cm. x 2.5 cm. with associated overpainting, together with a chip, some small cracks to the interior and underside of the foot ring.
Dish: area of discoloured old restoration to the rim measuring approx. 7.5 x 5.5 cm, together with a chip measuring 1 x 1 cm., and a semi circular area of restoration to the rim with larger associated area of overpainting measuring 12 x 5.5.cm.; three hairlines to the rim; wear to enamels and scratches
Two beakers: both have age cracks to the enamels, associated area of restoration to the base and loss of enamels; one has a knock to the base with some losses.
These have not been examined under UV light.
