The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Some splits to the front door panel, including a horizontal split that has opened due to the japanned panel slightly coming loose from the door panel. The decoration overall with some scratches, marks, chips, losses, wear and rubbing.
Some drawers lined in old blue paper which has been stuck down. The bottom board of the right bottom drawer is loose. The upper long drawer is in pine, all the others are in oak.
The brass with minor scratches, marks, rubbing and wear. One key.
The giltwood stand with some restored breaks, minor losses to the carving. The gilding with knocks, chips and losses, particularly to the extremities. The reverse of the stand and cabinet with a dark wash. Evidence of old, apparently inactive woodworm.
