We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
A 9.6 x 4 cm. section of the rim broken and restuck with associated minute losses along the break line (a few of which filled-in) and associated touch-ups.
A few areas of touch-ups to the enamels.
A nick inside the foot rim.
Some deep scratches to the base.
A few minute firing spots and pin-size glaze gaps.
Two labels on the base:
- a rectangular paper label reading 'X61'
- a rectangular paper label reading 'CHINESE PORCELAIN / of the Yung-tching period, 1722-1736'.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
