The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
An approx. 11 cm. wide C-section of the rim broken in two and restuck, with a few associated minute losses of enamel along the break lines.
A chip to the mouth rim associated with an approx. 2 cm. long. vertical hairline crack.
Two approx. 3.2 cm. long. hairline cracks and a few short hairlines going down from the mouth rim.
Some flat nicks under the foot ring.
A circular paper label with the handwritten inscription '51' under the base.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
