The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
A 7 cm. long hairline going down from the mouth rim, associated with a small loss along the crack line on the exterior of the mouth rim.
An approx. 1 cm. long vertical firing crack to the foot.
A few small flat chips to the mouth rim, a shallow chip under the foot ring.
A few enamel flakes in the well.
A few small areas of extensive wear to the glaze inside the well.
A rectangular paper label reading '(X)162' under the base.
General age-related surface wear, deep scratches and minute firing faults as can be expected.
