The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Vase:
Some scattered chips to the rims and relief decoration.
A circular paper label reading 'R.H.R.P. / 546' under the base.
Stand:
A wide flat chip to the mouth rim and some small chips to the rims.
An approx. 1 cm. long hairline to a side panel.
A few kiln grit adhesions to the foot rim.
A circular paper label with the handwritten inscription '546' under the base.
Vase and stand:
Some scattered nicks to the rims and extremities.
Some fritting to the rims.
Very few scattered flakes to the enamels.
General age-related surface wear, scratches and minor firing faults as can be expected.
