The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
A chip to the mouth rim, an old flat chip to the foot rim, the tip of the spout with a few old shallow nicks, a very small surface chip to the body (on the lower section of a figure wearing a blue robe).
An approx. 7 cm. long hairline crack going down from the mouth with an associated loss along the crack line inside the jug.
An approx. 12 cm. long hairline (not going through the paste) to the body on the exterior.
The jug does not stand flat on its feet.
Some scattered firing faults and firing faults as can be expected.
Rectangular paper label reading 'CHINESE PORCELAIN / of the Kien-long period, 1736-1796.' and circular paper label the handwritten inscription '4' on its base.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
