The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
One vase:
The upper section of the neck and mouth rim broken and restored with associated overspraying and touch-ups.
A restored chip to the foot rim with associated overspraying to the foot.
Some flakes to the enamels.
The other vase:
A few chips to the mouth rim.
There is a underglaze flaw line inside the neck going down from the mouth rim.
A few very minor shallow nicks under the foot rim.
Both with a rectangular paper label reading '(X)165' under the base.
