The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- there is a restuck section to the rectangular opening at the top with an associated chip to the mouth rim
- there are a few hairlines to each end of the handle where it meets the body
- some fritting to the rims and edges
- there are some burst glaze bubbles, including ones to edges, top opening and the spout
- the foot rim has been reduced to the same level as the base
General age-related surface scratches as can be expected.
