The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cover:
An approx. 3 cm. long hairline in the center.
Rectangular paper label reading 'X139'.
Bowl:
Two chips and a small chip to the mouth rim.
A small shallow chip and very few shallow nicks under the foot ring.
Rectangular paper label reading 'CHINESE PORCELAIN / of the Khang-hi period, 1662-1722.' and rectangular paper label reading 'X139' under the base .
Both bowl and cover with general age-related surface wear, scratches and minor firing faults as can be expected.
