The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Some areas of foxing and staining on the mounting, especially on the reverse, likely caused by humidity, along with a few tiny wormholes at the top of the mounting.
There are scattered areas of restoration with touch-ups, along with a few light creases. Minor pigment losses are also present.
General age-related wear and light staining consistent with age.
