We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The brush pot:
Some nicks to the relief decoration.
A glaze flake (approx. 0.5 cm. wide) under the mouth rim, and a some scattered minute glaze flakes.
Some deep scratches.
Circular paper label reading 'SPINK & SON LTD / Est. 1666'.

The washer:
Two C-sections broken and restuck / restored with associated overspraying and paint touch-ups.
Some areas of wear to the enamels, especially under the base.
A few scattered small enamel flakes.
Wear to the gilding.

General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
