The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are a few nicks to the rims.
- There is little fritting to the raised areas near the mouth.
- There is a small glaze fault on a horse on the body.
- There is an approx. 1 cm. wide underglaze hairline in the lower section of the vase.
- There are some firing crackles near the foot.
- There is an approx. 1.5 cm. wide concave section to the body with associated crackles, possibly due to the firing process.
- There are some surface scratches and abrasions.
General age-related surface wear and firing faults as can be expected.
