The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after ist initial manufacture.
- There are two small shallow losses, one to the inside of the handle, the other to the top of one ear, the largest measuring approx, 1 cm. x 0.7 cm.
- One ear has been slightly knocked and appears more flattened against the vessel side.
- There are scratches and light surface wear in keeping with its age.
