The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
Bowl:
Some nicks to the rims.
A few sections of the mouth rim possibly polished.
Natural russet flaw lines and inclusions within the stone.
Tripod censer:
The finial's animal's tail chipped off.
A few minute nicks to the rims, edges and extremities.
Yi ewer:
A large chip to the foot rim, an old flat chip under the top rim.
A section of the foot rim polished.
A few surface chips and little bruising to the base.
Some minute nicks to the rims, edges and extremities.
Some natural russet flaw lines and inclusions.
Brush washer:
A fissure near the handle.
Natural brownish inclusions and natural flaw lines within the stone.
