A DEHUA CENSER AND TWO BLUE AND WHITE BOWLS
CHINA, THE CENSER 17TH-18TH CENTURY, THE BOWLS WANLI PERIOD (1572-1620)
The censer has a compressed body and is flanked on either side with a lion-mask handle. It is covered with an even white glaze. One bowl is decorated with pine, blossoming trees and rockwork. The other bowl has a decoration of four figures on horseback, and a fisherman to the interior.
The censer 4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) diam.
